CHOCOHOLICS 🚨 Chocolate candies sold in multiple states are being recalled over the potential presence of an undeclared milk allergen, which could cause a “serious or life-threatening” reaction to people who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to milk.
The recall applies to 18.5-oz. packages of Wegmans Semi–Sweet Chocolate Nonpareils produced by Mellace Family Brands California, Inc. of Warren, Ohio.
The recalled product was distributed through Wegmans retail stores in Delaware, Maryland, Massachusetts, North Carolina, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and Washington, D.C., according to the notice.
