REPORT — The Trump administration has allegedly included journalist Tucker Carlson in the list of potential investors in the TikTok video hosting service, after Vice President JD Vance gave the recommendation, according to the Financial Times.
The list also included the venture fund Andreessen Horowitz and the investment company Blackstone. Tucker Carlson himself said that he was not aware of the list of possible investors in TikTok.
The United States tried to block TikTok amid concerns that the Chinese ByteDance was collecting data on American users. President Trump said that the platform would continue to operate in the country only if 50% of the shares were transferred.
