RUSSIA 🇷🇺 Moscow police, with the support of the Stolitsa Special Rapid Response Unit, stopped the illegal activity of a man who was calling for extremist activity.
The perpetrator published calls for violence and incitement of hatred and enmity in regional communities of the Altai Republic on behalf of a woman in one of the social networks, while he linked a “fake” phone number to the account, hoping to remain unnoticed.
The man reportedly wrote about himself in the feminine gender and routinely changed his place of residence. Still, the security forces were able to establish the identity of the criminal.
He was a native of the Altai Republic, working as an anesthesiologist. Law enforcement officers opened a criminal case under Part 2 of Article 280 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation “Public calls for extremist activity” and detained him early in the morning in one of the Moscow hostels, where he lived in unsanitary conditions.
The perpetrator managed to run naked around Moscow, dress in women’s clothing, and publish posts regarding an LGBT organization that is banned in the country.
The criminal investigation has now been completed and the trial is underway.
