Darin Selnick, the Pentagon’s deputy chief of staff, has been suspended as part of an investigation into leaks at the department in the wake of the Signal group chat scandal.
The suspension follows news that Dan Caldwell, a senior adviser to Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, has been placed on administrative leave Tuesday as part of the same probe, the official said.
Caldwell was escorted out of the Pentagon on Tuesday after allegedly being identified during the investigation.
